Major kudos to Bodyform for this awesome response to a Facebooker expressing his disgruntlement at how the media's portrayal of periods (sorry, gross and yucky "women's issues") have affected him in a negative way.
How telling that the (mocked) footage of Bodyform's focus groups show us the faces of men traumatised by the reality of a period (aka "the blood coursing from our uteri like a crimson landslide" - more kudos) despite the obvious fact that "sanitary" towel adverts should (by necessity) be focused at women.
Aaaah…… "sanitary"………
So let's all (men and women) keep ourselves sane by avoiding the gory details of periods, shall we?
